Dr. Harold Moore is a graduate of Morehouse School of Medicine and is currently the Medical Director of Family Medicine/Primary Care at the Emory Clinic in Atlanta and I work directly with Dr. Moore : )
Dr. Moore works primarily with blacks/african americans with different health issues on a large scale, so do not be offended when he says "as a people". Surely he is referring to 'blacks'; and simply because the group of idividuals that he provide care for seem to take their health for granted.
Because of him Tre-en-en is my best friend; IT WORKS!
